"Our primary function is to provide response to search & rescue (SAR) emergencies," says Darren, emphasizing the weight of their responsibility. "Most of our team members fit this in around full-time jobs, and technology plays a crucial role in aiding our operations."

Previously leveraging cloud hosting, the team made a strategic decision. "We moved from cloud-based hosting to running our own internal high-powered NAS," explains Darren.
